iPhone Battery
#1
I'm sure everyone who uses their iPhone for an active cycle computer or just to log rides knows that the GPS feature on the iPhone will suck the battery dry in a matter of hours. I've seen cases which have batteries in them to extend the life of the iPhone. Does anyone have first hand experience with these?

I don't have any first hand experience, but I went on a week long bike ride with a couple thousand bikers last year, and a few had Solio solar chargers either mounted on their handlebars or on top of their helmets to charge their phones while riding.

There are also USB chargers that you can carry with you. I'd be surprised if iphone versions don't exist. Something like a Motorola P790.

I got a mophie juice pack air - it's perfect. Not too bulky and extends the battery life by around 2x. I can go on much longer rides and used it for a century with charge to spare.
