I previously lived in Washington state and the only thing I miss about it is the extensive network of trails that went all throughout the forests in the area. You ride a different trail every day for a month and never get bored with the scenery.
I really like Hidden Canyon Park in San Mateo, CA, but don't have a favorite yet

I have done the "loop" on the roadways. I didn't know there was a trail. Is it paved, gravel, or combination? I liked the trees overhanging the roadway; similar to Old Dixie Highway heading into Ormond.

I know there are some mountain bike trails in the Jefferson Memorial Forrest but mountain biking just hasn't been my thing in many years -- the last time I was doing trail riding they hadn't even invented mountain bikes yet.
There must be trails somewhere around here, but I don't ride them.
The KYMBA website shows a lot of trails around the area but I've never tried any of them.
I've been up to Fort Duffield on foot, but I've never tried the bike trail.
I haven't ridden lately. I'm just thinking about getting started again doing some casual riding around where I live
