Change crank arm on cheap bike
#1
Hi all,

I picked with a damaged left crank as seen in the pictures below.

Following online tutorials it appears the standard crank removal tool does not work for this model. What is the way to remove the crank arm on this bike?

thanks a lot,

I had some feedback on http://groups.google.ca/group/rec.bicycles.tech/topics?lnk=rgr

I assume the regular crank removal tool will work. I will try the bike shop at school and post updates.

It worked fine with the Park tool.

Sorry I did not see this post! There are two different size crank removal tools, that I know of. Wish I could have warned ya.
Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!
