I'm a newbie to this forum trying to refurbish my aging road bike to commute to work and ride on weekends. I'm trying to replace the original campy cassette on my '98 Bianchi and tried to replace it with a 2009 campy veloce cassette, but the splines on my hub (one wide and the rest identical) are a different model than the ones on the new cassette (a single notched spline and the rest identical). Any recommendations on how I can get a 10s cassette that'll fit my hub? thanks in advance for your help.
Is your original cassette a Campagnolo?
Was it originally a 10 speed.
Are you trying to "upgrade" from say a 9 speed to 10?
I am not sure, but as I understand it, Campag' changed their hubs as they increased their cog count.
So a 10 won't fit a 9 and a 9 won't fit an eight etc.

cyclerUK,
Thanks for your help. After re-counting the number of sprockets...I'm feeling quite dumb. The original was an 8s not a 10s! Not sure how I missed that. I've already looked and I already found a campagnolo 2009 8s cassette at the same online store. Thanks again.
Piker, Glad to be of help. Perhaps the shop will do a swap for you.
If you did want to go 10 speed there would be a lot of changes required.
Virtually the whole groupset would require changing.
