I don't wear cleats, but my mate does. We only mountain bike, and he has his right foot with a cleat and his left WITHOUT cleats.
He says it's a safety thing because when you mountain bike, a fraction of a second can be the difference between wiping out and being able to get your foot on the ground to save you.
Any thoughts? Is this something you'd do?
