Do you mean when you first competed—or simply when you first rode a bike?

My first biking experience as a kid was on a Chrome Redline.

It had a plastic GT seat and I used to try to use the curbs to hop but wasn't great at it. Had a few close calls.

I do! I was so nervous, but at the same time, I couldn't wait to get on my bike and start riding. It was a lot of fun—I think it's what got me into racing in the first place. And it's not just about the thrill of competition; it's also about getting out there and enjoying nature, seeing new places, meeting new people… cycling is such an all-around good time!
My first bike was BMX Black magic, i still got it!
