Cleaning Park Tool CM5 chain cleaner brushes
#1
Hello Everybody. I use my chain cleaner quite regularly and I was wondering if there were any tricks/tips anybody knew about to clean the brushes and to prolong the life of them.

Thanks to all in advance.

I use a biodegradable cleaner in mine (Mountain Equipment Co-op Bio-Cycle Chain Cleaner) rather than a solvent so I just rinse it out with hot water. That seems to keep it clean but as for prolonging it's life, I don't know. The Bio-Cycle cleaner works just as good as solvent in my opinion.
