Brand new to biking and need help changing wheels on my bike

I have a SE Lager 2012 and I now mainly use it for road cycling. I have been having a lot of issues with the front wheel and it has gotten to the point where I feel I need to replace it. I was wondering which tires would be the best for road cycling that are compatible with this bike. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I'm sorry if this is a stupid question I am very new to biking and don't know much as of yet.
