OK, there's a lack of detail in the pic. I don't see elongation in the link like a quality QR. It's a fairly inexpensive bike, so I wouldn't expect a QR link anyway.
By the way, did you mark it yellow?
I would not trust the chain;
1) Replace the chain with a Walmart chain (Bell brand $10ish). The QR link is a little funky but OK.
2) Replace the chain with a
better chain with a better QR link, $15-$20ish. The new chain should be the same length or maybe a link longer. (This is an involved topic). An 8 speed chain is OK. Here's another, a
Z51. Here's a
good deal.
3) Replace the link with a QR link. This is iffy because I'm not confident in the chain.
4) Go have a local bike shop replace the chain. You'll probably end up with a chain with no QR link. This will cost more because of a minimal labor fee, but you wont have to buy a chain tool or fuss with shortening a new chain in ideas 1) & 2).
If the chain comes apart at the wrong moment it can be painful. I just looked online & walmart has changed to a different brand. You need a 3/32" chain, not an 1/8" wide by the way.
