I was taking the dog out for a walk this morning and noticed a Shimano Hyper Havoc dumped on my lawn. Checked it out and see why it was abandoned there- it's in need of (hopefully easy) repair. I've attached a few pics of what is the problem area (rear wheel grinding against the frame). It looks like there might've been a cut to the frame too? Can someone confirm this?
I'm not at all familiar with bikes but I work on cars and am an engineer- I'd consider myself DIY savvy. Can you guys tell me if this is worth repairing and if it is, what parts I will need to replace? By the way, the shaved bike handles is the least I'm worried about
