New Ride, need help identifying

Bought this recently and the older gentleman that I got it from believed it was from the late 1930's. He was unclear as to the brand and thought it maybe a Roadmaster, Dayton, or Colson. Something from Cleveland Welding.

I noticed a few things are not original to it but I'm most curious to the frame as I can't seem to find one like it out there.

Here is a link to the pictures.

Thanks!

Hi;

I assume that you googled Cleveland Welding Bicycles.

Take a look at http://thecabe.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?2705-Cleveland-Welding-S-N-Project

The poster named Phil seems to be an expert, and his e-mail address is in the last post.

Holy cow! I had a thought that if that guy who is sometimes on Pawn Stars (History Channel) who refinishes antiques for the pawn shop crew took a day or two at this bike, it would look absolutely sweet.

My colors of choice off the top of my head would be bright red with white highlights.

Good find! Post pictures when you get it cleaned up. I like that big crank - with teeth every couple of places.
