Mountain Bike Grip shift is stuck in one gear
#1
Thumbs Down
So I’ve made a dumb decision and drove my grip shift 18 speed mountain bike in water that was over my handlebars and am now deeply regretting it. After going through the water the bike still worked perfect. It wasn’t until about 2 days later when i went to go ride it and noticed that it was stuck in gear 5. So i tried to do some research but couldn’t figure it out. I really need to fix the problem, Any explanations, help, and solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Try to peel back the covering and spray some lubricant inside.

WD-40 or Triflow or even PB Blaster
