Dog carrier for mid size dog
#1
Does anyone know of a dog carrier for a 30lb dog? I have a Trek hybrid and want to mount some sort of box or basket etc on the rear rack carrier but the baskets I see online are too small as they're made for dogs around 18 lbs or so. I prefer to take her with but I don't really want to tow a trailer.

I can offer you this advice, there is a website called http://www.instructables.com/ that have loads of DIY (Do It Yourself) projects. I really don't know of any basket that big.

Good luck,
Bill
Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!

You may not want to pull a trailer but its the best way both for you and your dog. It will be safe this way if you putting that much weight on the back is not the problem its when your dog moves that will give you trouble. I love dogs and cats here and don't want to hear what happens if you were to try the other way around. I hope I am not scaring you thats not me I just want you and your dog to enjoy the ride.
My dad always told me a Sledge a matic can fix any thing.

I finally did buy a trailer made especially for pets. She doesn't like it too much though, she whines and cries and moves about, which I can feel. She'd rather be running along side. Even after several miles and she seems exhausted she still wants to run. I do take alot of rest stops for her sake though. I still take the trailer with just in case we go to far. I can use it to carry stuff. It looks like I will have to get her some booties though.
