Component Manufacturing
#1
A few of you on here may know this but I'm a toolmaker apprentice/machinist and I want to get into bicycle manufacturing in some respect. A bike I've been prepping to build up needs the BB and cranks to call it complete.

I'm interested in manufacturing these components myself at my shop to gain the experience. Are there any resources for manufacturing these components? I've read some on Sheldon Brown but that is somewhat limited. I do have the outlet to design them myself. Making parts that fit together and have to work gives me the mindset to look into the designs first.

Wow I know ya been here for a while now, and being a machinist you have a good start. Did you try looking on youtube?
Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!
