Just a note on the Park Tools HCW-9
#1
I recently purchased a Park Tools HCW-9. Well to my new knowledge there are two different ones!!! One is a 31mm - 40mm and the other is a 36mm - 40mm. They are identical except the size which is proper sized and marked. No kidding folks be careful of the one you purchase. I just emailed Park question on it but for now I just wanted people to know.

Lol Steve,

Yes I guess I could go and do that too Smile . As I am still awaiting for Park to email me back I did find out that one is "Laser Cut" (36mm - 40mm) and the other (31mm - 40mm) is not. The Laser cut series is a newer line then the older ones. There is also a couple they do not make anymore like the HCW-2 (35mm box end and pivoting lockring spanner) the HCW-3 (36mm box-end and 25mm open end bottom bracket wrench) , HCW-10 (36mm Head wrench and 15mm pedal wrench), HCW-12 (32mm head wrench and lockring hook spanner), and HCW-13 (Lockring hook spanner and 36mm fixed cup wrench). HCW-9 (31mm-40mm) is also discontinued. As far as I know these are not in production anymore , but if anyone wants to correct me please do so. To further this note, per say you need one of these wrenches do not pay the same price as ones that are still in production because it is just not worth it. Check here 1st http://www.parktool.com/parktoolgear/category.asp?cat=72 .

They have some decent prices for discontinued stuff too Smile . Shipping is about right lol.
