Fake electric bike websites being set up
#1
There are people setting up electric bike websites using fake information. What are they trying to achieve? It is likely, if you order an electric bike from one of these websites, you might get scammed.

Only buy from reputable companies.

Unfortunately there are fake websites selling just about everything. Used classic bikes are being sold on facebookmarket that are being sold by the real owners on cycling sites such as this. Scammers are just copying the sales post and attaching it to a fake F-book account (most appear to be of African origin).

In my experience, fake/suspicious sites/sellers are normally quite easy to spot. Alas, greed often trumps people's discriminatory powers.
