Frisco-greenway Trail
A rails to trails path
Joplin Missouri
This trail is off the regular path, and I love experiencing the different terrain. On a hot summer morning, this place is great with small creeks along the route.
I'm in Knightdale, NC - a suburb of Raleigh, NC. The best trail in the area is the Neuse River Trail. It connects with so many other trails in the area that one could go over a hundred miles within the city on the trail. It's beautiful!
In the greater Charlotte area, for MTB, we ride the US National White Water Center trails - 50+ miles of trails. Also Lake Norman State Park - 30+ miles. There are tons of trails within a 2 hour drive from Charlotte. All types of terrain for all types of skill levels. We are truly blessed with great trails around here.
For road biking, the best routes are the country roads. It's not far to find some great roads with great scenery. There are tons of group rides going on all the time.
The best biking place in my hometown would be Kandal,Cambodia because it is long quiet countryside with eatable fruit trees along the road
Sandy Springs, Georgia - Heritage Park
My favorite because it is small enough to make several trips through the greenery.
I ride in our local parks and bike trails
city & name of the place: Brooklyn, NY ~~~ Prospect Park
why is it your favorite?: you have everything there (& the Botanic Garden right beside)
Las Vegas
mainly to get few items for store or visit friends few miles away
Eagle Rock Reservation, West Orange NJ, great trails!
Denver colorado
We have a few area favorite flat ground area is the Platte River trail
The best biking place in Houston is the trail around Buffalo Bayou.
Red Rock canyon loop in Las Vegas, NV because it's very scenic
Definitely West Side Highway!
Castle Rock park, Santa Cruz county CA
In Indianapolis it's limited, however I'd have to say somewhere around the NE side there is a biking trail along the river that is pretty solid. Down south towards Lil 5 territory (Indiana University yearly race) you'll see a lot of bikers take advantage of the long rolling hills and steep and curvy at some point towards the national forest near Bloomington Indiana.

I ride on the path regularly and I always look forward to going past the Delta Ponds, where I usually see herons, ospreys, kingfishers, turtles, nutria and other wildlife.
Nutria! I didn't know they were that far North.

But where is it?!
It is definitely not the Westside Hwy where I'm from unless no scenery and insane traffic calms your nerves.
Please folks tell us where these areas are so that others who live in your area, or who are just passing through with their bike (me!) can locate them.
Country, region, city, trail head address, landmarks, etc.
