Rear Derailer/ Aluminum frame hanger

I have an older aluminum Pacific 5000 moutain bike that I've turned into a nice 26" cruiser. My problem is the rear derailer popped off the hanger while a friend wad using it. The hanger is solid with the frame and the threads are now stripped out. How can I fix this issue in order to mount my derailer?
