more info would help, what bike, what tire size and so on. post some pics of your bike and the mounting areas such as top and bottom of stay's and fork legs and crown area

cannot answer about if wrong or not, but do not like the term "cruiser" in the description. If the front has two long u shaped braces it may be an issue yours will need to mount on the fork arch in the middle up top. size wise you should be fine. you can always take off the front brace and make a top center mount to attach. but you may have a hole or two in your fender that may or may not be a big deal to you.

looks like the rear will be ok, the front will take some creativity for the lower brace mount no matter which set you get when trying to install full fender to a front shock setup. at least you have a center hole in your fork brace. Nigel Misso will chime in on this I am sure after he see's this. He is the man when it comes to fender's and will offer some sound suggestions.

First can you send the cruiser fenders back? They are expensive, heavy, and it will take more to adapt them to your bike than other fenders would.

These would be MUCH better: http://www.amazon.com/Pyramid-MTB-Full-Fenders-Black/dp/B000AO5IVC/

In any case, for the front, you will need P-clamps to wrap around the bottom of the shocks and provide an attachment point for fenders; like on the front of my green GT:
http://forums.bikeride.com/attachment.php?aid=3352

If you keep the cruiser fenders, you may need two per side; one going back/down, one going forward/up. In addition, you may need so extension brackets, because the stays do not appear to be adjustable.

Nylon P-Clamps are fine for the job, which you can get at Harbor Freight for a very low price for an assortment. Make sure you get the black ones, and the white nylon will degrade very quickly in sun light.

with a shock on front you would need enduro style fenders and that is not not the type you want. there is no other fit for the front shock other that the clamps as there are no eyelets on the rear of the fork. It will be a functional makeshift application.

same problem as your initial set, they are really for single speed cruiser bikes. your fork throws a wrench in the works if not designed for fender's.

what Nigel has picture is really your only option, for your bike plastic is the way to go. They are lighter, do not dent, quieter, last a long time, and often less expensive. The rest is up to you, your question has pretty much been answered. P.S. I noticed you are or were in the service. A big thanks and a shout out to you and all your brother's in arms!
