I am looking for a recumbent tadpole trike .
If looking for used, I use this search engine for craigslist so I can search the whole country "Fast"

Thanks, but nothing close to me right now

Budget, yes, wife told me not to go over $1200 total. I'm looking at a TerraTrike Rover 8 but not to sure of the 8 speed internal drive wheel.

Well wife just used the bike funds for a new computer, so it looks like no new bike.

Pants?? If you go to San Francisco, the latest trend in some communities is to ride nakiid. Equal rights and all that. If our fore fathers only knew. Used to be all you needed is a flower in your hair. Me I keep my pants on. :-))
Never Give Up!!!
Well you know the saying, if Momma not happy no one is happy. George I think I may try that no pant riding out, just may need to keep a good eye out for the PD in town.

It is hard to pass up a photo shoot like that Fred.

yes I know, I did leave it wide open.

I would suggest you find one with indirect steering. It is kind of like having power steering on your car, and far less twitchy at higher speeds.
Location: Silver City, NM, USA
Some guy here in Silver City has a nice recumbent trike, dunno what make or model... but it looks pretty cool, it has knobby tires for use on dirt roads. I've seen him down by the skatepark, just wheeling around and getting some fresh air and exercise. Next time I see the guy, I'll try to get some pics of the bike, it's definitely more than a street trike... looks like it could handle some of the easier trails and forest service roads in the mountains and high desert. The frame isn't that long either, nowhere near as long as some recumbent street trikes I've seen elsewhere.
