Shimano nexus 7 problem

My one month old shimano nexus 7, starting making sublte -da chink- noises and now brakes when i try to pedal? Any ideas?

It may just need a cable adjustment. It is normal for cables to stretch in the first month or two. Don't know why that would cause it to "brake when you pedal", but I'm not sure what you mean by that anyway.
