Nexus shifters
#1
After bitching about the grip shifters on my recumbent for nearly 2 years I finally forked out for some Ultegra bar ends a couple weeks ago. I absolutely love them.

Well now I bought a new comfort bike for around town. Again I have a bike with grip shift although being a Nexus 8 speed hub they are much more tolerable.
I see they make rapid fire shifters which I like on my derailleur MTB. I see they also make Snap shift for the Alfine. I would like to try the snap shift since the RF come with a integrated brake lever that does not match mine.

My question is will all these interchange or is the Alfine different?
As inexpensive as these shifters are it is worth looking into.

Guess the real question is are ok in your budget to spend the amount for your venture?
Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!

I see the shifters listed here and there for around $35 which is easily worth it to me. I called Shimano and they said if I give them the #'s off my hub they can tell me what fits.
I keep forgetting to call
