Should I upgrade my wheels?
#1
I currently have Xero XSR-3 Wheels on my road bike.

I say a set of Eastern EA70 Wheels on sale at my local bike shop.

Are they better than what I already have? Are the hubs better? Will I get less rolling resistance?

Thoughts?

Yes for sure you will gain at least 59 mph without any effort. NOT.

Looking at the two sets, the Eastons look a quite a bit lighter. Now, lighter wheels can make you go faster if that is what you are aiming for and you are planning on racing.

However, if that is not the case, I say stick with the ones you have now unless money is no issue to you. You will have to eventually replace the wheels and if your current set is doing fine, I wouldn't do it. Then again, I don't have a lot of money.
