1979 Schwinn Tornado

I just picked up (for free) a 1979 Schwinn Tornado! Thinking about fixing it up, shouldn't need much. Any ideas on were to get factory parts for this thing?

Sorry, I don't know much about BMX bikes but you might try your local bike shop (LBS) or eBay.

hi there, how are you? well i got the same problem, but may i can help u out or we can help each other, are you interested in selling the bike? why? because i have a 1980 and a 1979, the only problem is the both are incomplete, 1 needs the #1 plastic plate for the handle bars (the 1980) and the other bike needs the #1 plastic plate on handle bars ' i think ' any way let me know what's on your mind also let me know what parts you need and send me close pics of your bike plenty of pics if you wanna sell it as is i'm interested you can contact me at 562 200-6982 or [email protected] hope to hear from you soon thanks.
