Adjusting disc brakes

Hi Everyone,
Can some one tell me how to adjust the cable type disc brakes. I've tryed tightening and loosening the cable and still can not get the brakes to work proper.

Here is something that may help ya out. What you have is "mechanical" disc brakes. http://www.utahmountainbiking.com/fix/diskmech.htm
Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!
