Front suspension problem

i have got the Hercules act 106 bicycle.during jumping from a stair my front wheel hit the surface first . now a unusual sound is coming from it .i don't know whether this sound is coming from the headset or from the fork spring .when i try to pull the handle upward while running this that sound appears violently.
i showed it to one of the local mechanic ,he said it is due to the spring in side the fork has been loosen and leave it as it is for time being .it is not wise to open it now and with time it will adjust itself.
any suggestion plz....

It sounds like he gave you good advice. It might be a little more trouble to try and open that fork up. But that is definitely up for debate. Some people would be happy to dive in there. I don't think there would be a simple fix to stop the noise.

Noises can be annoying. I have to agree with your mechanic friend and Jordan as suspension parts are touchy and can be dangerous if one doesn't know what they are getting into. Do some trail riding and exercise the spring and eventually they will take form and quiet down. Another option is to go to a Local Bike Shop and have them take a look.
