Sturmey Archer hub brakes
#1
The rear hub brake on my Pashley bike is dragging, even with the rear brake cable disconnected. Any ideas?

Just hang on and there is someone here that uses hub brake.
Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!

I see this one did not get answered but here is the actual company your bike came from and what does the hub say on it? I know sturmey archer but the other stampings?

But my eight speed internal hub has been completely overhauled for 2009-2010. With eight logically positioned gears and a wide 325% gear ratio, you will have no problem making it up that steep hill or catching up with your friend on his geared bicycle. An easy to use shifter and rotary gear selector make the package complete.
