Plastic gripshift
#1
I can't swap out my gear cable because my (Schwinn SRAM MRX Pro 3.6 Racer) plastic grip shift won't come apart without breaking. So far I have cracked a few pieces off but I think it's still good. Any suggestions?

This isn't the exact same gripshift, but may offer some tips that could help:

Upload some photos of your shifter and the pieces if you can!

I did use that video for reference in fact it was the reason I was confident that I could do it. I thank you for assisting.
