I need a front index shift lever or the matched set. Falcon derailleur, 10 speed or whatever is compatible. 7.3mm is the closet spacing measurement I can achieve. They have to be marched right?
Can I drill and replace that nub? I'm pretty handy.
In the preview I didn't see any pics, just the attachment info, so it goes.

It can absolutely be fabricated if your crafty enough. More material will mean stronger. I can't say there's enough tension or pressure issues here that it will cause your fabrication to fail.

That is called a friction shifter by the way. It might be easier to just buy a new friction shifter to be honest. ^^;
