Hi everyone. New member here. I am an 86 year old trike rider. I have both a regular tadpole trike, a Trident Trekker, and a TerraTrike Tour II that has a Bfang motor. Weather permitting I ride anywhere from 20 to 35 miles every other day. Being from Nebr, I am in the snowbelt, and cant ride for at least 4 months of the year. I mainly ride on the 130 miles of hard surface trails here in Lincoln. I am a member of the local bike club, and a bent club in Omaha. I am also a charter member of the Great Plains Trails Network, that funds and promotes trails here in town, and all over the state.

Welcome to the forum, I just joined myself, seems like a nice friendly place 😀

I'm in my early 60s and hope I can keep riding into my 80s!

Welcome aboard, @rydabent. Your trikes actually sound pretty cool. I've tried most types of bikes, but that's one area of cycling of which I have zero experience.

Welcome to the forum, @rydabent and @JeffAP! I also hope to keep riding for as long as I live.

My brief and only visit to Nebraska was before starting RAGBRAI in 2018. My friend and I chose to ride to the NE-IA border but, unfortunately, didn't get to see or ride more in Nebraska. I wasn't aware of the biking trails there. Thanks for mentioning them! I'll look into them next time.
