Any updates on the recall? The last I saw was this from CPSR.

It's officially rolled out in my country now, you can basically just go to any Shimano accredited seller with your crank and they'll replace it with a new one. Doesn't matter where you brought it too as long as it is a genuine Shimano product

Yes, it has to match the specific designation for the recall.

That being pre-July 2019 apparently.

Here's the replacement promises though.

Does there have to be signs that it is failing, or do they just replace all appropriate model cranks?

As long as the crank is among those under recall (based on the manufacturing date) individuals are advised to cease using it right away and have it replaced by an authorized Shimano dealer.

Yes, ofcourse, it actually has to have the proper serial number that has to be recalled.

I wanna gear from the others how this is being rolled out in other countries, anyone care to chime in?
