Southern Cyclist New to Bike Ride

Hey BikeRide crew, TrekFlight here!

I just stumbled upon this awesome forum while trying to troubleshoot my Trek's brakes, and couldn't resist joining. I've been an avid cyclist and mountain biker for years. Whether it's conquering steep trails or cruising down the open road, if it involves two wheels, count me in. I bike 8 miles a day as it's how I commute during the week.

By trade, I'm an airframe and power mechanic, so naturally, I love diving into the nitty-gritty of bike mechanics too. Trust me, if you think tweaking a bike is fun, try doing it on a Boeing engine! Super excited to dive into discussions about gear, trails, and of course, maintenance tips. Also looking to swap some stories, tricks of the trade, and maybe even parts if anyone's interested. Can't wait to get to know the community and share some of my own experiences.
