Hello From Ringgold, Georgia
#1
New member here from Ringgold, Georgia. I'm excited to get back into riding, after a long 7 year break. I have joined the Chattanooga Bicycle Club & hoping to join them on some of the slower rides. Being north of 70 years young, I'm going to have to take it nice & easy!!

Howdy, TourBusGuy! Navy vet here. Moved a lot of jar heads through the Pacific over the course of 4 years. Would still be doing it if the reenlistment offer had been more substantial! Good to have another fellow vet aboard this ship. Enjoy the ride and post often.

Do not forget to mind your macronutrients (carbs, protein, fats/lipids) and your micronutrients (vitamins/minerals).

Hydration is just a small piece of the puzzle.

I would suggest an EAA supplement for when riding. Most these days include electrolytes, and mix well with other sports drinks for a big electrolyte boost.
