Shimano Dynasys SLX Zee Inconsistencies

Beware of potential inconsistencies between Shimano SLX and Zee Dynasys.

I had originally thought the only reason I was getting skipped gears with the SLX shifter on an Ultegra RD-6600 was because I had accidentally installed a low spacer when it wasn't needed. I went over the cassette and freehub body and the low spacer was in-fact needed for it.

This means that the SLX Dynasys is different than the Zee series.

Zee series are downhill, and intended to be used with road cassettes (such as 105). Yet these somehow remain labeled as 'Dynasys'. Zee shouldn't skip gears on on road cassettes or with road shifters give the presented qualities, yet the SLX definitely does, and that would suggest all the Deore series Dynasys would as well.

It all leads me to believe that Zee wasn't Dynasys at all, and that's why Shimano through the Shadow+ clutch on the Ultegra RX, so they could try to cover it up and prevent a lawsuit.

This might also go on to explain why Shimano included odd schematics like "gear combination selections" into the explanation of their Dynasys technology.
