clicking new chain

Hi,
I just replaced my chain and when I went to ride there was a near-constant light ticking sound coming from the cassette/freewheel. Does this mean I should replace the cassette/freewheel?

tough to answer without seeing the bike. Is the clicking only while pedaling? maybe a video would help

Need more information. Does it make noise under load, easy pedaling, etc. Did you get the correct speed chain? If it's too big like an 8 speed chain on a 9 speed setup, the chain will catch the next largest gear.

A video could help in this instance.
