M9050 cage length dimensions of SGS and GS [Solved]
#1
I have an M9050 rear derailleur and looking to installing a few larger cogs. Problem is I don't know if it is an SGS or GS.

The quick measurement eye-to-eye of the cage is very close to 100 mm, so I think it's an SGS, but nowhere can I find the actual reference sizes.

Does anyone know these values off hand? Or does someone know for sure if they have a SGS/GS and could quickly measure it for me?

Thanks a bunch!

Do you have a photo of it? I might be able to tell it by looking at the derailleur.

SGS could be somewhere in between 85-90mm, but I honestly do not have M9050 on me right now and can't tell by heart.

Thanks for the reply see if these pics help.

If necessary can remove the wheel and take a eye-to-eye pic with measurements, but I don't have a stand atm so it's a bit awkward.

Solved: it is a SGS (~94mm) where a GS would be 86 mm

Further information: When I plugged it into E-Tube Project, it was identified as SGS.
