How do I find frame specifications?
#1
I'd like to know how to measure the maximum tire thickness clearance on a particular bike frame. I can't find the specifications on the frame website, that's why I need some help here.

Hi Ben,

If you don't have the frame with you it'll be hard to know unless you can find the measurements online. If you can't find the info I would call the manufacturer and ask them. Let me know how it goes...

Alright the frame is the Kona Caldera 2008 version.

You could also phone some bike shops that carry that model. They won't mind checking it out for you.

The local bike shop doesn't know. Could you phone Kona for me please? The bike frame is Kona Caldera 2008.
