without seeing the bike in person i recommend this. Due to posting on the tutor, I hope and assume that you are stepping up to the plate and willing to learn to do your own mechanic work. Kudos to you and you have come to the right place.
Some close up pics would be helpful, but I recommend buying a shimano cassette removal tool and a chain whip. then take of the rear cluster and check to see if it is isolated to the cogs or is your freehub shot and wiggling too. if it is just your rear cluster, simply buy a new one. If your bike has a lot of miles, get a chain also.
This would be the time if you so choose and want to try different gearing changes too.
you will also need a good chain tool. Quite often one can purchase basic bicycle tools for the same or less than service from a shop for the intended need. When I started out i would buy tools as needed and in the long run have paid for themselves over and over servicing bikes for other people.
I cannot tell you where to buy the tools as you did not imply where you are from. i suggest you update your bio
