Rims marked "for disc brakes only"
#1
Hello,
Welcome back!
I bought a new rear wheel for a road bike today (Giant OCR) and when putting the tire on I notcied the sticker says "for use with disc brakes only"
What is the implication of using the wheel with non disc brakes? Faster wear in grooves on the rubber pads. A big issue? It's the rear wheel should I swap it before using it?
Thoughts appreciated.

Thanks gusk!
Unfortunately, you'll have to swap the rim if you want to run regular brakes. The rims on that wheel weren't built with rim brakes in mind, so you may wear through the rim or have other problems :-(
