Here is a few picture for well reference or whatever that aren't in production anymore. If anyone wants to offer information on any or all of them go ahead Smile .
Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!

Hi Bill;

Nice pieces of sculpture - please put them in a museum or display case. The reason they are no longer in production is that they offer very poor braking performance compared to today's linear pull (aka V-brake) and dual pivot side pull brakes.

They should not be used on a bicycle that is ridden - for the safety of you and those around you when you ride.

There are actually a few that are still manufactured from Dia-Compe, Shimano (I think), and can't think of the other one. Granted you may be correct, but they did do their job. With the new brake pads like from Kool-Stop (just a name example) changes they way things used to be. If we look at Mechanical leverage to linear and the d.p.s.p. brakes then yea I have to agree.
