Front Derailleur Bolt Replacement

I'm repairing an old Schwinn and stripped the cable bolt on the front derailleur. The original bolt was a carriage-style bolt with a hole through the body anchored with a nut and washer. What's a good replacement set-up for anchoring the cable?

Most bike shops should have this kind of bolt available. You may be able to jury rig it with a normal short bolt with some washers to give enough grip area for the cable though. Doesn't matter for an older bike with friction shifting. But note that on a new bike with indexing in the front, location of the anchor point of the cable is quite important. Moving it a couple mm's can affect shifting.
