Replacement tube for 28 x 1 3/8 x 1 5/8

Hello everyone,

I am trying to figure out which tube to get to replace an old 28 x 1 3/8 x 1 5/8 tube. I can't seem to find it online. I remember someone telling me I could use a 700c (?) but I don't remember the dimensions exactly.

Also, any tips on where to order tubes online from the US would be great.

Thanks, Nigel. Much appreciated. As a follow-up question, this will be the second replacement in a matter of days (I think I used a 700c tube to replace the original one but I just didn't remember what I got from the store and wanted to order another replacement while at work). The first tube had a small hole/tear near the base of the valve, on the side facing the rim. I have not checked the second tube yet but I did notice last night that the valve was at an angle. Assuming I did the original replacement correctly and there are no sharp edges on the rim or hole, I am guessing this is due to the tire slipping. It's an old tire and the rubber is no longer very "sticky" for lack of a better word. If so, is there any way to prevent the tire from slipping?

slipping is HIGHLY unlikely if you have the tire properly inflated.

Double check for sharp edges.

you need to partially inflate the tube before installation.

Presta valves are narrower (see: attachment).
Schrader or auto valves are wider, more of a cylinder shape.
