Help find axle for this hub
#1
I have a 21 speed bike with a bent rear axle....engraved on the hub is K J....then the numbers 33 97

I have done hours of google searches........can anyone help me id this hub......it's not a sealed bearing, or loose bearings.....the ball bearing are in a race.

Also.......How would I measure the current axle to know which size to order...

Thanks

the length of the axle (within 3mm or an 1/8") and the diameter of the axle - it will most likely be 10mm, but may be 3/8" or even less like something else.

Where are you? I have a spare bolt on 10mm axle for 135mm OLD, it is about 170mm long, that I can give you.

What type of bike is it? Most mountain and road bikes have 135mm OLD, most modern road bikes have 130mm OLD and some recent road bikes with seven speed freewheels have 126mm OLD. The for a bolt on, there is usually about another 15-20 mm on each side of the OLD, for quick release, about another 2-3mm on each side.
