Fork Sizing
#1
Hi, I've got a GT Backwoods which has Rockshox Quadra 21r's on front which a completely fluffed. I'm looking to replace these with something semi-decent for little cost. I've hunted everywhere for new elastomers for these could only find some in America for like £50 + import charges etc.

I was told to look around for Bomber Z1s and Manitou SXs but the Z1s are out of my budget, and I've no luck finding any SXs.

A lot of the forks I find all have a 1 1/8th steerer diameter, whereas mine is only 1". Could these be made to fit somehow?

Any help would be great!

Cheers in advance Smile

.......
Only if you replaced the bike frame... so no they can not be made to fit your present bicycle.

Here is, IMO, your best bet... http://wings-suspension.de/rockshox.html
I've put some in an old Manitou 3 and they really feel better than the elastomers ever did.
