Mech disc brakes

Hi...cant seem to remove right hand pad on my front disc brake. left one drops out ok. any ideas folks... thank you

I'm not sure what kind of disc brake you have, but on the bike that I have with a front disc brake, you can unscrew the right side of the caliper with a hex wrench and pull the right pad out that way due to the pad being too big to fit through the slot.

Which Make/Model of caliper are you using, royz?

Sometimes held in with a magnet, but most brake mfg's have their own websites with setting up info and diagrams.

promax disc brakes on the bike at the moment
need some hayes/avid type i reckon......

promax disc brakes,they dont feel as though they
are man enough for my fs20 diamondback,its quite heavy

If I remember right mine is a promax (entry-level), so what I did might work for you.
