FIXED! Brakes and quick release front wheel issue
#1
Please ignore the post. I fixed it. For anyone else with this same issue, the brake cable line was sitting in the little indent where a metal part should have been sitting. SO basically when we reconnected the brakes, we didn't do it 100% properly.

Thanks anyway all!!

ISSUE:
I am new to biking and every time I remove the front wheel then reinstall it the brake pads are against the wheel and the front wheel can't turn. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix it?

I have a Raleigh Venture 3.0 (16").

Thanks,
c

Those little rascals get me at times when I am not paying attention or do not note how something so small has to back together the right way.
Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!

I've noticed often with quick releases, once the wheel has been taken off and installed again, the brake pads tend to get off. Try pressing the brake then tightening the skewer. This often fixes the problem but doesn't get things perfect.

With V-brakes you'll have to adjust the tension screw. With side-pull brakes, you can just manually move them.
