Coaster brakes
#1
I just rebuilt the rear wheel hub with coaster brakes. Everything seems Ok, but there seems to be some unnecessary drag, or friction interfearing with the wheel spinning. Any suggestions?

Parker tools site has some good info on coaster brakes.

If you are getting drag, first make sure the wheel is not rubbing anything, than you may have tightened the bearings too much, if they were smooth and properly greased on reassembly.
