Bike fell and brake levers knocked and moved
#1
I lifted one of my panniers off the rack forgetting how heavy the other one was and promptly the bike fell over. Unfortunately this knocked the gear shifter on the right drop handlebar and it now points in rather than straight. They're Shimano 2203 Dual Control STI shifters. I've looked under the rubber but none of the screws I can see seem to effect the location gear shifter. I can see the metal band that goes round the handlebars but I can't see how they're attached to the bike?
Also I managed to damage the plastic head of one of the screws on the top of the shifter so if anyone has any good ideas about what to do about that I'd be grateful.
Thanks

If you look down the outside of the shifter "body" there is a grove that goes under the rubber.
Lift the rubber and there is an hexagon socket screw.
You will need a matching Allen key (metric). Slacken the screw, re-position STI and tighten up.

Ride hard or ride home alone!
