Old Bicycle Repair Guide
#1
Ok... showing a bit of age here... but back in my youth I had a book on bicycle repair. It was written in a similar style to the Idiot Manual for VW's (if you know this book, you may know the bike book). There were simple line drawings and cartoons and such, but was very informative. Written with humor as well as good instructions, it covered almost anything there was to cover on a bike of the time (early 80's). Anyone ever see or read this book and/or know where I can find a copy? Or even the title?

Nope... was way before the "dummies" series of books. It was probably 78 or so now that I think of it....

Found it...

Anybody's Bike Book by Tom Cuthbertson

Think I had a late 70's edition... seems it has been updated- first in print around 1971... means the book is as old as I am....
