DMR LOCDD grips
#1
Hi,

Firstly, I am very new to this forum and bike maintenance/ bike parts on a whole. This site, however, has been extremely helpful. I do have on issue that I would loved to be cleared up. I bought these locdd grips and they look perfect. I tried to install them to my bike, but the bar plug (a small cap that screws into the bar) is far to thin. I just falls out. Is this a problem with the handlebars or the grips themselves. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dec

Are the grips flush with the end of the bar?
Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!

The grips are flush with the bar, it is just that the plugs are not big enough

You could try getting hold of some different end plugs, or try wrapping your existing ones with some electrical tape, or perhaps some PTFE plumbers tape to fatten up the plug a bit.
